2017 Olivia - Ornament
The Olivia series was written by Ian Falconer. It was influenced by his
niece Olivia. The ornament is a portrayal of how Olivia looked on the cover
of the first book. This book was listed in "Top 100 Picture Books" in 2012
by School Library Journal. Falconer chose to use uncluttered images in black
and white with just an occasional splash of red. Each book in the series uses
another signature color in additional to the original black, white and red.
