2017 Dream Horse: Friesian - Ornament
The Friesian in is a horse breed which originated in Friesland, which
is in The Netherlands. Although the style of the breed resembles a draft
horse, Friesians are graceful and nimble for their size. It is believed that
during the Middle Ages, ancestors of Friesian horses were in great demand
as war horses throughout continental Europe. The modern-day Friesian
horse is growing in number and popularity and is a beautiful animal.
