2017 Classic American Cars #27 - 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 - Ornament
The Boss 429, known as the Boss 9 to car enthusiasts, is one of the
rarest and most valued muscle cars built to date. The car was
conservatively rated at 375 hp but actual output was over 500 hp.
This was the first car fitted with the rear sway bar which gave it better
handling than the other big block Mustangs of its time. The car is said
to be able to exceed speeds of over 175 mile-per-hour. Ford also made
the legendary Boss 302. Hallmark also made a newer version Boss
Mustang ornament in 2013. The car in the John Wick movie is a 1969
Ford Mustang Boss 429 (different color).

Last car
This Mustang Boss is the last car I needed to complete my Hallmark Classic Car series. I was fortunate to find it at this dealer, they were a pleasure to work with. Hopefully I’ll keep up the collection and not need their services in the future but will not hesitate to return.
