2014 John Deere - Waterloo Boy - Ornament
Named for Waterloo Iowa, where was first made, the Waterloo
Boy was one of the first commercially successful tractors. Acquired
by Deere and Company in 1918, this workhorse could plow and
disk a field better than draft horses. Soon these rugged green
and yellow machines would become familiar sites in farm communities
across the nation. You can see a lot of tractors on the John Deere tractor
page.
