2013 Football - Joe Theisman - Ornament
Joe Theismann was drafted by the Washington Redskins as a punt
returner in 1974 after he had started his career in the Canadian
Football league. He was quickly promoted to quarterback and racked
up an impressive list of awards. He led the Redskins to victory in Super
Bowl XVII. However, he may be best remembered for his career ending
broken leg injury that occurred on Monday night football on November
18, 1985.
Complements the NFL Football Legends ornament series.
