1999 Old West #2 - Prospector - Ornament
This bronzed looking Western theme ornament shows a prospector using
a pan to mine for gold. After the precious metal was discovered near
Sacramento, California in 1848, tens of thousands of young men headed
or that state to seek their fortune. This prospector's pack mule is loaded
with the miner's necessities including a coffeepot and a skillet.
