1999 Joyful Santa #1 - Ornament
This is the first in a new series of African-American Santas which will run for
three years. Many different images of Santa brighten our world at Christmas
time. Each one represents a unique cultural heritage and ways of celebrating
the holidays. This Santa in his distinctive costume reflects the essence of an
African American tradition. Santa is wearing a colorful vest and a hat trimmed
with holly. He is carrying a large wooden pole or cane in his right hand.
