The Dodge Sweptside had a "forward design" which made it an instant
classic and one of the most identifiable pickups in Dodge history. The
rear bumper and fenders were strikingly similar to a station wagon in the
passenger car line. The styling pizzazz was matched with an optional V-8
engine to provide plenty of pep. A different vintage truck which is favored
by collectors is featured in this series every year.
